We love staying at Cocoa Village. Staff is very friendly and you can walk everywhere. There are plenty of smaller boats in the marina. We are 38ft and never have a problem with the dock height. Remember that there’s very little tide in this area. They have a great facility, very nice restrooms and 50 cent washers and dryers–pretty hard to beat!

i did not stay here but did get a look at the docking situation: this place is better suited for boats over 40 feet. the wooden piers are almost 8 feet above waterline and climbing off a small boat can be dangerous and difficult. it is also rather industrial in appearance.

We highly recommend Cocoa Village Marina for a night or two. It is within easy walking distance to downtown. The docks are new and there is pump out service at each slip at no extra charge. They offer discounts to MTOA members. The restrooms, laundry and lounge are clean and first rate.

This is a great marina with Cocoa Village across the street. There is no problem renting a slip in either the protected west basin, or the more exposed east basin. We found everything top shelf. The facility is under new management but very little has changed, I even heard of more improvements down the road, like slip side pump out. When that happens, this will be a 4 star marina. Don’t miss this one.
On Board Take Five, 11/30/09. Just dropped by to inquire about rates. There are two areas: one is exposed to northerly winds, the other has a concrete bulkhead. The protected slips have recently been sold at auction. The marina staff will not be able to commit to any renting of slips until Dec 7, when the owners will announce their intentions to rent their slips or keep their own boats in them. Costs for rental of protected slips are based on length of slip, not boat, with 50 foot minimum. Costs of rental at exposed slips based on length of vessel. First impression of this marina is that it is excellent.

Very nice marina with the swankiest Captain’s Lounge yet. We hit Cafe Margaux for lunch which was outstanding. It’s a pretty fancy spot and not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. Guys…suggest you send the first mate to the “cutesy shops” while you spend an hour wandering through Travis Hardware. You gotta see this place.

Cocoa is good place to stop and spend some money having fun. Ryans Pizza really hit the spot after not getting in further north. For decent protection from the north, the west basin is much better than the east. Good showers, unfortunately the sauna is only for property owners!
We have spent many days at this marina on our annual trips to and from the Keys. This is one of those facilities that you have to look very hard to find something wrong with it. To date, we haven’t . The staff is great and the facilities are clean and modern. The marine is well protected from the elements. Security is good. The location is across the street from downtown Cocoa Village which offers great food and entertainment. Travis Hardware store is worth the trip to Cocoa alone. This is a “time warp” experience with an inventory of every known hardware item ever made!! I would (and do) strongly recommend this marina as a great stop for anyone.

I just wanted to let everyone know that we had a very pleasant stay at Cocoa Village Marina. We went to Ryans Pizza just a few blocks away. A sweet girl named Mel was the server. We had a wonderful meal and a very enjoyable evening. I recommend every one to go to Ryans. Next day as we cruised South we saw several pods of dolphins and were happy to be back in Florida.

This is a great spot for cruisers. The basin is nicely protected and the staff is very nice. Cocoa Village is across the street and should not be missed. Great shops and rest. as well as the best hardware store on the east coast of Florida. I’d give the marina 4 stars.
