We just spent a week at Bridgeton Harbor Marina and loved it. Everything is nice and wide – the fairways, the slip, the docks and even the finger piers. They have a nice laundry, lounge, book exchange, a big freezer that anyone can use, and the individual restrooms/showers are amazing. Friendly liveaboard community – there was a huge potluck dinner one night for some folks leaving this week for the Bahamas. There’s not much around the area but that’s one thing we liked, it was quiet and peaceful. For more excitement and plenty of restaurants (we loved MJ’s), it’s a short dinghy ride across the river to New Bern. Lots of history, great area to walk and shop in, and more bears than you’d see in Yosemite.
