Mariners are advised that concrete repairs, cleaning, and painting operations are underway at South Bridge Street Bridge across Pamlico River, at mile 37.2, in Washington, NC through April 1, 2015. A containment platform will reduce the available vertical clearance outside the navigable channel by approximately 4 feet. A small safety skiff and barge will be in the vicinity outside of the navigable channel. The work will not affect drawbridge operation. Mariners should use extreme caution when transiting the area.
