City of Gulfport Open Citizens Information Call Center

The City of Gulfport is monitoring the developing Hurricane Irma forecast and preparing for an anticipated weather event. Residents with questions can call the City of Gulfport Citizen Informational Call Center at (727) 893-1000 fromNoon – 8 p.m. today. Additional call center hours will be available Thursday,Friday, and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The following City operations are available for all residents.

The Sandbag distribution location at Gulfport City Hall is activated for City residents. Sandbags continue to be available at Gulfport City Hall, 2401 53rd Street South, while supplies last. Material and bags will be supplied. Shovels will be available. The City of Gulfport sandbag distribution at City Hall will be open until 7 p.m. tonight and 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. tomorrow. (While supplies last) There is 10-bag limit and proof of residency may be required.

Residents with questions can call the Citizen Informational Call Center at (727) 893-1000 from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.

The City of Gulfport Public Works Sanitation Department will continue to follow the normal sanitation operating schedules until inclement weather prevents further activities.

Residents are urged to closely monitor the weather for updates. City Officials will continue to monitor the developing storm.
