Approach the streamâ€™s entrance on its mid-width. Take your time and keep a sharp watch for snags and partially submerged logs. Expect approach depths of 5Â½ to 11 feet. These soundings fall off to one patch of 5-foot readings just past the mouth. Soon, depths increase again to 6 and 8 feet. Follow the creek until you are just short of the charted sharp jog to port. Consider anchoring in the body of this turn for excellent protection. Donâ€™t cruise farther upstream unless your craft draws less than 3 feet.
