Little River/Deep Creek Anchorage – Claiborne’s Review

Moving upstream, you might first consider Deep Creek, which makes into the southwesterly banks. Minimum 5-foot depths hold along the centerline for several hundred yards upstream, and swinging room is adequate for a 36-footer. We always play it safe and anchor in this stream’s northeasterly mouth
Deep Creek offers excellent shelter from all but particularly strong northeasterly blows. Be sure to read the navigational account of Deep Creek linked above before deciding to cruise this body of water.
