Lutz Creek Anchorage – Navigational Detail

Set course from marker #159 for the center portion of the correctly charted tongue of 6- and 7-foot waters, west and southwest of Lutz Creek’s entrance. Take care to avoid the finger of shallower water extending from the sharp point northwest of the stream’s entrance, clearly shown on chart 12206. Stop and drop anchor well short of (west of) the creek’s western mouth. Do not attempt to cruise into Lutz Creek itself. Farther to the east, depths have now shoaled to 4 feet or less.
