Author of a number of cruising guides to the Southeast and founder of Salty Southeast Cruisers’ Net, Claiborne met an untimely death in June of this year. See /?p=142896

Just wanted to let you and everyone at the Salty Southeast know that next Sunday, October 19, UNC-TV is planning to run all of the Cruising Carolina specials hosted by Claiborne back to back on the UNC-EX channel. The marathon begins at 1 p.m. and will continue until 8 p.m. Thought you all might want to put the word out to the cruising community.
