Dataw Island Marina actually sits off the AICW’s run through Coosaw River. This fine facility is accessed by way of a marked channel running first through Parrott Creek, then across the Morgan River.
Dataw Island is an SSECN CRUISERS’ NET SPONSOR, and we are proud to number a facility of this caliber among our active supporters.
Things have changed at Dataw. The maarina keeps getting better and Ken and Carol Treadway are working to make it even better. The restaurant has closed but is due to re-open very soon. According to Ken, it should be a big step up. Call to check the status.
Plenty of help available if needed when arriving or departing. Fuel costs are generally much cheaper than other marinas in the area.
I have stayed several times totaly over two months. I have also taken advantage of their yard.
