[EXPIRED] First Annual St Augustine Maritime Heritage Festival, Oct 26-27, 2013
This maritime festival is the final Viva Florida 500 event celebration for St Augustine’s Maritime Year 2013 and is a fundraiser to support the work of the Maritime Heritage Foundation in St. Augustine.
1st Annual St. Augustine Maritime Heritage Festival
Saturday October 26th 2013 9:00 am to 8:00 pm
Sunday October 27th, 2013 9:00 am to 6:00pm
On the historic waterfront grounds of the Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park,
11 Magnolia Ave, St Augustine, FL 32084
This family friendly two day event includes:
Quick N’ Dirty Boat Building Competition and Race.
Ponce de León Paddle Battle (enter with your SUP)
`Astillero de Perro ‘ (aka dog agility contests) open to your furry companions
Who knows you may dinghy back to your boat with your canine mate wearing that gold medal!
Maritime lectures, book signings, educational exhibits.
Rubber Duck Race.
Kids’ Zone and games/activities
Beer & Wine tent, Food Truck vendors.
Saturday Night at the Fountain

Entertainment by The Bilge Rats
Bartenders’ Challenge

The festival will be open at 9:00 AM both days. Closing at 8:00 PM on Saturday, 10/26/13 and at 6:00PM Sunday, 10/27/13.
Festival admission is included in the regular admission to the Fountain of Youth and at a reduced rate for St Johns County residents/ Active Military.
