Chamber of Commerce to Host Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

PUNTA GORDA, FL. ‘“ December 3, 2015. The Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce, along with city officials will celebrate the Grand Opening of Scotty’s Brewhouse Punta Gorda with an official ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday, December 6th. The celebration will take place at 5 p.m. at the new restaurant located at Fishermen’s Village, 1200 W. Retta Esplanade. Along with an official ribbon cutting ceremony, live music and food samples will all be part of the opening celebration.

The Punta Gorda location opened its doors officially in July, with the intention of bringing their Midwestern style, service and selections to the Southwest Florida coast. This restaurant features traditional Scotty’s Brewhouse food, including a wide variety of appetizers, entrees and desserts, sure to please all palates. The outside 5,000-foot deck complete with 200 seats and an additional 80 along the wrap around patio- features a full service bar including daily Happy Hour specials from 3-6pm every day, specialty drinks made with 8 Frozen Cocktail Machines and a signature Tiki Cup Special. Guests can grab a cocktail and walk around Fisherman’s Village while enjoying the sights and shopping. The Waterfront Food Menu includes a variety of popular appetizers to enjoy with cocktails including Scotty’s Famous Shrimp Cocktail, 7 Tidals Buffalo Chicken Dip and Specialty Thin Crust Pizzas.

As with all Scotty’s locations, it is `all ages welcome’ and family friendly. The Punta Gorda Brewhouse is open daily for lunch and dinner and brunch is available on Saturdays and Sundays beginning at 9 a.m.

Beginning December 1, Scotty’s will be offering a number of limited time gift card promotions. Guest who purchase a $25 gift card, will receive a $5 Bonus Buck. Guests who purchase a $100 gift card, will receive $25 in Bonus Bucks and available only in December guests can become a Scotty’s High Roller by purchasing a $500 Gift Card, and receive $180. In addition, guests, can download the new Mobile App launched earlier this year. The Scotty’s App, includes a Mobile Pay feature allowing guests to pay their check, leave a tip for the server/bartender and sign for their check all within the App. Loyalty Member can track reward progress, review available rewards and redeem rewards all through the new App. In addition to VIP rewards, all App users will have access to a number of ongoing promotions issued exclusively through the Scotty’s App. Guest can also order online through the App, further streamlining the act of ordering on the go for busy and loyal guests.
Designed to enhance the overall guest experience- this location is equipped with 30 new televisions inside the restaurant and an additional 8 televisions lining the outside cabana – with complimentary Wi-Fi services for guests. Unique to this location, guests can pull up and dock boats prior to dining and take advantage of carryout and catering services, with free delivery for all catering orders over $100. This location also offers a wide range of branded merchandise including t-shirts, hats, visors, polos, coolers and koozies all available for immediate purchase inside of the restaurant. Scotty’s hopes to open 15-20 additional locations in the state of Florida over the next 2 years.
