Cruisers mark your calendars for the next class in February, 2015
Ripple Effect Ecotours, in partnership with University of Florida’s Whitney Laboratory for Marine Bioscience and the Town of Marineland Marina, is now offering the Coastal Module of the Florida Master Naturalist Program just footsteps from the docks at the Town of Marineland Marina. Cruisers now have the opportunity to stay at the marina for the month of November and immerse themselves in all the wonders of nature that abound here at Marineland which is poised on 40,000 acres of the GTM-National Estuarine Research Reserve and includes all the coastal eco-systems, with the exception of the coral reef, within walking distance from the Town of Marineland Marina.
Marineland, FL—Learning more about Florida’s natural environment now is possible through the Florida Master Naturalist Program (FMNP), an environmental education extension program being offered in partnership with the University of Florida-Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF-IFAS) and participating organizations throughout the state. The FMNP both informs and prepares persons to share information about Florida’s natural world and environmental history.
