There are few boating parents who have not taken their offspring to a Gregg Russell concert under the Liberty Tree at Harbour Town Yacht Basin, only to discover that they, the parents, have had as much fun as the kids. These wonderful concerts are a great way to reward your children and yourself after a long day on the water.

Gregg Russell’s 40th Anniversary in Harbour Town
Gregg Russell will celebrate 40 years of performing in Harbour Town this year. Since 1977, Russell has entertained adults and children with his family-friendly music, becoming a classic not only throughout Sea Pines but Hilton Head Island as well.
Gregg Russell has also written and performed children’s music for TV specials although he is best known for performing on the Liberty Oak stage in Harbour Town. Fifteen years ago, the nature-inspired playground across from the stage was even named after Gregg Russell as a tribute to his 25 years of entertaining visitors and guests.
“It is an honor and pleasure to know and work with Gregg, and what an achievement to have performed to the delight of children and families for 40 years,” says Rob Bender, Director of Recreation and Marine Operations at The Sea Pines Resort. “Our mission is to create lifelong memories and I cannot think of a better example than the memories Gregg has created for our guests night after night and year after year.”
