Intersection of AICW and Browns Inlet
Statute Mile 237, North Carolina AICW
The Problem: The Waterway is shoaling all the way north from Onslow Bridge to the Waterway’s intersection with shallow Browns Inlet. The problem is particularly acute northeast of marker #61
The Solution: Be sure to traverse this section of the AICW from mid to high tide. Watch your depths sounder carefully and proceed with the greatest caution.
