Repairs.
Costal Marine Construction, Inc. has advised the Coast Guard that they will be working on the SR 72/Stickney Point Bridge, Gulf Intracoastal Waterway, Sarasota County, Florida from April 13, 2015 through January 8, 2016. The Coast Guard Captain of the Port St Petersburg has approved the following restrictions for this bridge. Starting April 13, 2015, this bridge will be on single-leaf operations with a double-leaf opening available with a four hour notice to the bridge tender. From June through September 2015 between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, this bridge will be allowed single-leaf operations only. The contractor will have floating equipment under the down span and for one-half the channel the vertical clearance will be reduced by five feet. The floating equipment will be removed as needed with four hour notice to the bridge tender. This work is expected to be completed by January 8, 2016. Chart 11425 LNM:15/15
