LNM: Fender System Repairs to Holden Beach Bridge, August 12 – September 4, 2017, AICW Statute Mile 323

With a fixed vertical clearance of 65ft, Holden Beach Bridge crosses the Waterway at Statute Mile 323, west of flashing daybeacon #51.

Mariners are advised to take caution and proceed slowly when approaching the construction site taking place under the Holden Beach Bridge crossing the AICWW in Holden Beach, NC. The repairs are to the fender system and anticipated to take place between August 21, 2017 and September 4, 2017. During this time mariners are urged to transit the area with additional caution as floating equipment may be present and portions of the fender system may be removed.
