Travelling north in January, 2020, stopped in for overnight. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Great facilities. Easily able to Uber into town for Walmart and eating out. Highly recommend for transient stays.
Skull Creek marina is ok good restaurant in walking distance some weather problems in a east wind. Good fuel dock.

Cruising News: Skull Creek Marina (mm 555) now has free WIFI available! The marina recently installed a new antenna system and upgraded the service. Another reason to make Skull Creek the overnight stop in the Hilton Head/Savannah/Beaufort area!

Stayed at Skull Creek Marina for 2 nights. Decent depths, don’t remember the exact #’s but we draw 6′ and didn’t have any problems. Bit of an older facility, could use a facelift but everything was clean. Only one washer and dryer and the washer wasn’t working while we were there. Riding our bikes to the nearest shopping/dining area was about a 10-12 mile round trip thru a very pretty gated community. Had lunch at a steakhouse called Frankie Bones. Couple of other restaurants in the shopping area along with a Harris Teeter grocery store. Heard there was a nice restaurant somewhere with-in dinking distance but never did find it.
