Absolutely one of the friendliest places I have stopped. Staff is great and went the extra mile to help me get in and hooked up. Also check out the restaurant. This is an easy place to miss around the corner from the new bridge at mm 8.8. Stayed there on a northbound trip on 8/26/22 and is definitely on my list. Thanks everyone

Top Rack Marina is top in its class. Brian the manager and Mike the dock hand were great and most helpful. The floating slips perpendicular to the ICW look short, but our Krogen Express 49 fit great. The bathrooms are first rate quality and clean. Diesel is pumped at 30 gpm, plenty fast enough, at the compelling price of $2.59/gal. The Amber Lantern restaurant was outstanding, best fried oysters and crab stuffed shrimp we’ve ever had. Laura the bartender is very nice and pours multiple kinds of Belgian beers from the tap. GREAT STOP. We’ll be back.

Our 2nd stay at Top Rack. New floating docks, free electric (50 amp), friendly, helpful staff, competitively priced diesel & top shelf restaurant (Amber Lantern) all for fixed price of $40!

My first visit to Top Rack was in 2014. It was then and is now a great place to stop over when traveling the AICWW. Facility is well kept, ample dockage for overnight stop and go travelers as well as a great deli and 5 star restaurant, “ Amber Lantern” on site. Showers are comfortable and fuel is reasonably priced. Location is no wake, quite and easy in and out. The best part is the culture of the staff, helpful, understanding professional. I would not stop anywhere else with in miles.

Top Rack Marina is alive and well. I spoke with Brian, the manager, on Friday and they are still under the same management. The only thing that seems to have changed is the deal with the Amber Lantern restaurant. What they are now offering instead is a $35 slip for any size boat and you can have power if you want it for the same price. I think this is the better deal anyway as I could never get out of the Amber Lantern without way over the $75 minimum. This is a great stop north or southbound and a great deal on fuel.

Sad to hear Top Rack Marina has changed. We stopped there many times for the good fuel prices, excellent food at the Amber Lantern and free dockage with dinner. I always visited with the Manager and the business that supported the place was the large dry rack storage and launching of small powerboats.

Top Rack Marina at ICW Mile 8.8 no longer offers a one night dockage credit with dinner at the marina restaurant, “The Amber Lantern” (if the tab equals or exceeds $75.00). We’ve stayed their numerous times in the past on our 15 trips on the ICW, and have greatly enjoyed the food and service here. Also, the fuel prices have always been great! The marina has always been good to us, and we’ve even waited out bad weather in this somewhat protected area with floating docks. We were surprised this past May, when we planned to stop, but no one was around – so we went on to Norfolk!

Top Rack marina has been there at least a couple of years already. We stayed there a couple of nights just before last year’s spring rendezvous in Norfolk. Their business model is a little questionable as the place always seems empty. For example, you have dinner in their restaurant (a little pricey) and your overnight slip is free. Still a great deal. (And the food and service was great by the way). And they have some of the best fuel prices on the east coast. So why is the place empty? Location? Maybe it needs a lot of land business but the location is iffy and hard to find by car. But for boaters, the docks and facilities are first rate.

For you loopers just heading north from the rendezvous, Top Rack Marina just past the Great Bridge lock has diesel for $2.09.9 and dockage with electricity for about 4 boats for a flat $35.00 a night for a slip including electric. We stayed for 4 nights and Ubered to see the Wisconsin and caught up on boat chores. Very friendly staff and I’m told a very good restaurant onsite the Amber Lantern.

Diesel $1.92.9 Includes tax. Free pump out with fuel. These guys bend over backwards for you. Nice deli restaurant, brand new restrooms and great floating docks. Low and high speed diesel fuel pumps. We stopped because the Great Lock was shut down for three hours due to high tides. So glad we did. Very nice folks.
