      This missing flashing green marker is on the south side of the entrance to Wassaw Sound south of Little Tybee Island, approximately 1.5 miles west of the Colregs Demarcation Line. This is a popular route for larger vessels headed for Thunderbolt.

      GEORGIA-SAVANNAH RIVER AND WASSAW SOUND-WILMINGTON RIVER: Hazard to Navigation.Wassaw Island Light 17 (LLNR 5680) is destroyed. The remains of the pile are marked with a temporary lighted buoy TRLB `WR17’ displaying Fl G 4s characteristics in position 31-55-11-170N/080-57-50.768W (31°55.4664N / 080°57.846W, 31.92444 / -80.9641) (55°13.8336N / 080°57.846W, 55.23056 / -80.9641).
