Cruising News: Looking to cross west-bound in a couple of days.  “Mangos” has 3 1/2 ft draft.  Any observations or recent cruiser experiences for route 1?

I know for a fact that a 33 Morgan OutIsland with a 3′ 11″ draft will make it from Port La Belle to Ft Meyers. I can’t tell you about the East half of the waterway.
