Shoaling Reported at Marker #40, South of McClellanville, AICW Statute Mile 433

We have been receiving AICW shallow water reports for time out of mind, centered on the Waterway channel southwest of McClellanville, SC. As before, we recommend passage at mid to high tide and Capt. Don confirms that recommendation with his report of shoaling in the area known as Matthews Cut. For a recent survey of the area just north of Marker #40, see http://cruisersnet.net/?p=123112
