      South Creek Lower Anchorage
      Lat/Lon: 32 34.208 North/080 12.426 West
      Location: South Creek makes into the North Edisto’s southwestern banks, south of Bohicket Creek’s southern mouth; this anchorage lies between the “9” foot sounding noted on chart 11522, and the “sy” notation.
      Minimum Depth: 6 to 13 feet (SEE SPECIAL NOTE BELOW)
      Swing Room: sufficient room for vessels as large as 36 feet
      Foul Weather Shelter: Good in all but strong easterly winds
      Special Note: the eastern mouth of South Creek is surrounded by unmarked shoals, which can quickly result in a grounding; slightly favor the southern side of the entrance for best depths, but please understand that South Creek should ONLY be entered by skippers with special local knowledge, or those willing to take a risk!
