[EXPIRED] Special “Scary” Event at Charleston’s Old Exchange Building, near AICW Statute Mile 465
The Old Exchange Building is a great place to visit any time of year, but this special “exhibit” is a super way to get into the Halloween spirit for young and old alike! At 122 East Bay in downtown Charleston, the Old Exchange Building is a short taxi or bike ride from City Marina, A SALTY SOUTHEAST CRUISERS’ NET SPONSOR or Maritime Center.
Night at the Museum
One of Charleston’s most historic buildings has been taken over’¦by its exhibits! A mysterious force has animated some of the most notable historical figures of the Palmetto State. This family-themed nighttime event takes place Saturday October 25, 2014 at the Old Exchange from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Cost is $10 for adults, and children ages 6-12 are $5.00, under 6 are free. All proceeds to benefit the Old Exchange Building a 501(c) (3).
Visit with President George Washington, the infamous pirate Stede Bonnet, Revolutionary War heroine Rebecca Motte, Confederate defenders from 1865, Constitutional Convention delegates, World War II Coast Guard servicemen and many others. A scavenger hunt will help guide visitors through the three floors of the Old Exchange, which will also provide clues to a special treasure!
