[EXPIRED] Sunken Vessel near Mandarin Holiday Marina off the St. Johns River in Mandarin, FL
Located south of Mandarin and Orange Park, FL, along the eastern shores of the St. Johns River, and on the north side of Julington Creek (just west of the Route 13 fixed bridge), Mandarin Holiday Marina has long been a stop for cruisers plying the beautiful St. Johns River.
FLORIDA-JACKSONVILLE-ST JOHNS RIVER-JULINGTON CREEK: Hazard to Navigation.The Coast Guard received a report of a sunken S/V near the Mandarin Holiday Marina in position 30-07.8N 081-38.1W (30°7.8N / 081°38.1W, 30.13 / -81.635) with 20ft of the mast sticking out above the water. Mariners are advised to transit the area with extreme caution.Chart 11492Just to be clear about this sunken vessel’¦Chart 11487 does show a wreck southwest of RED MARKER `44’³ near the west shore of the river.
