Western Florida Boat Storage Discussion

There has been an interesting discussion underway on the American Great Loop Cruisers’ Association (AGLCA) forum about good boat storage facilities along the western coastline of the Sunshine State. The first two facilities mentioned below are located off Charlotte Harbor, south of Punta Gorda, and the third is found on Salt Creek, hard by the downtown St. Petersburg, FL waterfront, just off Tampa Bay!

Plus another great place next to All American is Charlotte Harbor Boat Storage…we have been there the past 3 summers. And you can live aboard your boat there while working on it……Has nice showers , kitchen, and a large community room… Our 38 ft. costs about $243/month….

Try looking at Salt Creek Marine Center [in St. Petersburg, Fl, off Tampa Bay). They have storage and are one of the few yards around this area that allow DIY. Call 727-895-4481 and ask for Anna.
