Was out on the water today at Southport NC. CG Sector North Carolina is issuing hazard to navigation bulletins on channel 22A cautioning mariners not to trust the locations of any ATON in the state!
I know our Coast Guard is working hard to get the marks on station and these are the same folks telling us not to trust them. There will be a lot of moving many of them around over the coming weeks.
