This staging area is west of Battery Island and immediately south of the Waterway’s turn to the west exiting the Cape Fear River.

MARINERS ARE ADVISED THAT MARINEX DREDGING CREWS WILL BE STAGING DREDGE EQUIPMENT NEAR BATTERY ISLAND ON THE CFR BETWEEN CHNL LB 18 (LLNR 30470) AND CHNL LB 19 (LLNR 30475). DREDGING EQUIPMENT AND CREWS WILL BE PRESENT NEAR BATTERY ISLAND UNTIL APRIL
1, 2019 NEAR APPROX. POSN 33 54′ 44″N AND 078 00′ 47″W. MARINERS ARE ADVISED TO USE CAUTION WHEN TRANSITING THIS AREA.
