Our thanks to Cheryl Bomar for this latest notice in the marina open/closed roulette governments have been playing. Morehead City Yacht Basin, A CRUISERS NET SPONSOR, is located on the southern flank of the marked channel that runs west from Mile 203 of the Waterway.
The Governor of NC has issued that marinas as essential businesses can continue to dock and fuel boats. The Morehead City Yacht Basin will continue to do so with a limited staff and practicing safe distancing. The State of NC and local Morehead City officials are allowing boaters to get essential items like food, medical needs and fuel if needed. However movement in town is restricted to those needs and the Town of Beaufort is closed to non-residents so you would be restricted to Morehead City for essential needs. We ask that you give credit card and email information over the phone when making a reservation or fueling plans. A limited staff is available to help with docking and fueling.
