This dredging will intersect the Waterway off the western shore of Jekyll Island.
GEORGIA – ST SIMONS SOUND – BRUNSWICK – BRUNSWICK HARBOR: Dredge Operations
Continuing until approximately October 15, 2017, Marinex Construction will conduct dredging operations in the Cedar Hammock Creek between St Simons Sound Lighted Buoy 22 (LLNR 37260/6190) and St Simons Sound Lighted Buoy 24 (LLNR 6215). The Dredge PETER DEJONG will operate 24/7 and monitor VHF channels 13 & 16. Mariners are urged to use extreme caution in the area, transit at their slowest speed to minimize wake, and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made.
