[EXPIRED] LNM: AICW Buoy 60 Relocated, Browns Inlet Problem Stretch, NC Statute Mile 237
This relocated ICW buoy is on the northwest side of the Waterway’s intersection with Browns Inlet. The Problem Stretch intersection of Browns Inlet and AICW is a perennial shoaling threat and it is wise to follow the advice Cruisers Net has been giving for some time: follow the frequently relocated markers and do NOT follow the Magenta Line in this stretch of the ICW! Even though the intersection was just dredged in January of this year, mid to high tide passage is still recommended.
