      This ICW dredging project will occur north and west of Rattlesnake Island where the Waterway passes to the west of the island.

      FLORIDA – AICW – TOLOMATO RIVER-PALM SHORES – MATANZAS RIVER: Dredging Operations with Beach Disposal Placement.
      Southwind Construction will commence dredging operations in the AICW St. Johns/Flager Counties, Florida, Cuts SJ-61, 60, 59. Within Matanzas River Buoy 81A (LLNR 39535), Matanzas River Buoy 81B (LLNR 39537) and Matanzas River Buoy 81C (LLNR 39539) and Matanzas River Daybeacon 92 (LLNR 39610) near F-2 with fill placement at Summer Haven Beach, Matanzas Inlet. Operations will commence on or about September 30, 2019, Monday through Sunday (24/7) until approximately January 31, 2020. The dredge WILKO and workboats PROUD MARY and MISS LEANNE will monitor channels 13 & 16, working channel 78. There will be submerged and floating pipeline associated with dredging operation; use extreme caution in the area. Mariners are urged to transit at the slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made. Pipeline and vessels will be visibly lighted and marked. Submerged pipeline will be positioned from the active dredging areas along the west shoreline of the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway with an established submerged line crossing in the vicinity of the S.R.
