LNM: AICW MM 536 Ladys Island Bridge Closures, May 7, July 4, Oct 15, Nov 24 and Jan 21, Beaufort, SC
With a closed vertical clearance of 30ft, the Ladys Island Bridge crosses the Waterway at statute mile 536 on the eastern edge of Beaufort. Vessels capable of transiting without an opening may pass under the bridge.
The Coast Guard has approved a temporary deviations to the operating schedule to the Lady’s Island Bridge across the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway mile 536.0, Beaufort, South Carolina. The Bridge will be allowed to not open for navigation: to include Tugs with Tow from:
– 7:15 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. on May 7, 2022 to facilitate the Taste of Beaufort 5K 2022
– 7:15 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. on July 4, 2022 to facilitate the Habitat for Humanity 5K 2022
-7:15 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. on Oct 15, 2022 to facilitate the Swing Bridge Run 2022
– 7:15 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. on Nov 24, 2022 to facilitate the Turkey Trot 5K 2022
– 7:15 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. on Jan 21, 2023 to facilitate the Oyster Festival 5K 2023
Public Vessels and vessels in emergency situations should be passed at any time. Vessels that may pass through the bridge without an opening may do so at any time.
