[EXPIRED] CAUTION: LNM: Unlit No-Wake Markers, Joes Bayou, Destin, FL
These unlit steel beams will be much less forgiving than floating buoys in the event of a collision. Use extreme caution when approaching the boat ramp. Joes Bayou cuts into the southern shore of Choctawhatchee Bay.
FL – DESTIN HARBOR – JOES BAYOU – Unlit Steel I-Beams
The City of Destin, FL., has established two unlit steel I-beams labeled as (No Wake Zone) markers visible approximately 10-12 feet above the water, in Joes Bayou, in the vicinity of Joes Bayou boat ramp, in approximate positions 30-24-42.36N 086-29-26.34W (30°24.7060N / 086°29.4390W, 30.411767 / -86.490650) and 30-24-35.52N 086-29-22.32W (30°24.5920N / 086°29.3720W, 30.409867 / -86.489533) .
