[EXPIRED] LNM: Dredging Vicinity of Lake Worth Inlet, AICW Statute Mile 1018
This dredging project will extend from the Lake Worth entrance channel to the Turning Basin. The Waterway passes through the Turning Basin at mile 1018.
FLORIDA – PALM SHORES TO WEST PALM BEACH – LAKE WORTH INLET: Dredge Operations.
Weeks Marine will mobilize pipeline and equipment in the vicinuty of the Lake Worth Inlet, Palm beach, Florida from approximately 13-19 November 13, 2017. Dredge operations will start approximately November 20 until approximately December 9, 2017. The Dredge C.R. MCCASKILL and attendant plant will be operating in the Lake Worth Entrance Channel and the northern and southern Turning Basin between the following approximate positions:
Entrance Channel/Settling Basins:

The dredged material will be transported through a combination of floating and
submerged pipeline to the assigned disposal areas. The submerged pipeline will be removed at the completion of dredging activities. Operations will continue on a 24/7 basis. The Dredge and tugs will monitor marine VHF channels 16 and 67. Mariners are urged to use extreme caution and transit the area at their slowest safe speed to create minimum wake after passing arrangements have been made. Chart 11472 LNM 43/17
