SOUTH CAROLINA – CHARLESTON ENTRANCE – CHARLESTON HARBOR: Dredging Operations
Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Company, LLC will be conducting dredging operations on or about January 20, 2023 with an estimated completion date of March 15, 2023, 24hrs/day at 7-days/week. The tug MARY BENNETT will operate with a drag barge in the dredge areas the full width of the
entrance channel past Charleston Entrance Lighted Buoy C (LLNR 2370) to Charleston Harbor Channel Lighted Bell Buoy 18 (LLNR 2420 [32°43.4441N / 079°48.6179W, 32.724069 / -79.810298]) and also the Charleston ODMDS. The perimeter of the ODMDS is a square area south of the Entrance Channel bound by the following points:

Anchorage B, located adjacent to the South Channel and James Island within Charleston Harbor will be utilized throughout the project for periodically staging vessels, and waterside equipment. The survey vessel COLUMBIA RIVER will perform survey operations in all work areas. Vessels
