This floating obstruction is approximately 15.5NM SSW of Panama City.
FL – GULF OF MEXICO – Floating Inert Cylinder
A floating inert cylinder has been reported offshore Panama City, FL., in approximate position 29-52-11.940N 085-48-32.940W (29°52.1990N / 085°48.5490W, 29.869983 / -85.809150) . The cylinder is reportedly not marked. Mariners are urged to exercise caution in the area and report any sightings to the nearest U.S. Coast Guard unit, or Nicole Waters, at (850) 230-7999.
