LNM: Main Street Bridge Fender Repairs, 9/6/21 – 5/11/22, St Johns River, Jacksonville, FL
With a closed vertical clearance of 38ft (charted at 40ft) the Main Street Bridge crosses the St. Johns River just east of the Jacksonville waterfront. Possible channel restrictions require sharp watch and slow speed.
FLORIDA – EAST COAST – ST JOHNS RIVER – MAIN STREET BRIDGE: Fender Repairs
Seacost Inc will be performing repairs on the Main Street (US1/US90) Drawbridge, mile 24.7 on the St Johns River, Jacksonville, Florida. The Scheduled repair work includes removing & replacing bridge fender system, and replacing navigation lights. The project is scheduled to start 9/6/2021 through 5/11/2021, from 7am – 5pm daily. The project will consist of removing & replacing bridge fender system, and replacing navigation lights. Approximately 300 feet of the channel will be available for the passage of marine traffic. There will be no change in the operating schedule of the lift bridge.
