This partial closure, even though brief, only adds to the confusing circumstances at these three bridges, Old Roosevelt, FEC RR bridge and the New Roosevelt bridge. See Change of Schedule.

FLORIDA – EAST COAST – ST. LUCIE INLET TO FORT MYERS AND LAKE OKEECHOBEE – OLD ROOSEVELT (SR 707) DIXIE HIGHWAY BRIDGE: Single Leaf Operation.
The Old Roosevelt – SR 707/Dixie Hwy Over St. Lucie River, Stuart, Florida will be in single leaf operation from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday July 7, 2020 to facilitate repairs. The bridge will operate on it’s normal schedule per 33 CFR 117.317 (D). Vessels that may pass through the bridge without an opening may do so at any time.
