Jib Yacht Club is a convenient marina to the Jupiter Inlet. Very tight inside the marina. Marina has very helpful staff. However, there is no laundry, no cable TV, no Wi-Fi and the showers/restrooms are in need of upgrades and cleaning. Diesel and gas fuel is available. Pool is very busy on weekends from locals.

We stayed at JIB Yacht Club Marina in Jupiter right off the ICW, mile marker 1004.2. Water depths were about 6 feet along side the fixed docks. The deck hands were good and the baths very clean. There is no restaurant within walking distances however. Turning around to depart within the marina is tight; turning around a boat much larger than 46 would be VERY tight.

Glenn and his team operate a clean, safe and friendly marina. Gated, secure facility with roving security guard on the water at night. Boater focused amenities onsite (high speed fuel, pump-out at slips, OnSpot WiFi, captain's lounge, pool with grills/restrooms/showers). Absolutely anything else you need a short drive away.

Fixed docks are concrete and in fine shape. Location offers great weather protection within a cut off the ICW. 7 miles to Worth Inlet – 2 opening bridges with +/- 22' clearance when closed.

Surrounded by high end condominium development that has now finished construction with appealing landscaping. No more construction dust!

Juno beach community less than 1 mile away with local shops, restaurants, parks, and beaches.

Great place to keep your boat.

Loggerbeach Marina Palm Beach Gardens, Harbor Master Glen Bendeck and staff are first rate. Spent one year @ Marina slip D9. Stayed aboard during Hurricane Mathew, great safe harbor/hurricane hole!
Recommend short term/long term stay. Fuel discount for LH club members.
LH reciprocal policy good for those going North/South Eastcoast of FL.

Just north of MM1010 is the Loggerhead Marina, might be still called Frenchman’s Marina on your chart. It is south and adjacent to the Donald Ross Bridge, North Palm Beach/Juno Beach area.
Great restaurants are a short walk over the bridge, and just to the north. West Marine is a mile or two south on US1, as is Publix.
The marina has all the facalities, clean rest rooms, laundry, pump out, modern docks,,,, a little pricey, but maybe not for the area,,,
A public park/ beach is just north in Juno Beach,,,really nice beach. We stayed at the marina for a month last year.
Prior to swapping our land yacht for the aquatic kind, we stayed in the Juno Beach area, at an RV park,, Loved the area,,,great food, and great beach. Everything is close. If West Marine does not have it, B.O.W. is just down the road in Riveria Beach, on US1.
Car recommended. The airport is south some 10 miles or so via I-95. Nice area to do some land side trips.

When we were in West Palm Beach we called several places to get fuel prices. PGA marina gave us a great discount from their pump price and easily beat everyone else. They verified we were the ones who called when we got there. They also let us stay tied up while I walked to the bank and Carmines, a boutique grocery store with a fabulous Italian deli and great meat and fish. We had arranged that over the phone prior to going in. We had bought our boat only 2 blocks from there a year earlier. The waterfront cafe on the other side of the PGA bridge is fun with good food but a tough walk from the marina (no place handy to cross a busy street unless the bridge goes up).

December 3 2023: The price stated is $3.38 (all taxes included). I just spoke with the marina. The price is $4.25 (plus tax). Maybe the $3.38 price is for Safe Harbor members? If so, that should be disclosed.

Our stay was limited while waiting our repairs but considering how much was at stake, these guys did a swell job on the engine repairs and getting us going so , Thank you Big Diesel Marine 772 215 7663

Hi Larry, Here is our review of Old Port Cove. NPalm Beach. Five Stars
Easy in and out. No current in basin. The tall buildings cut the wind. Dock hand Kip came to us in a golf cart on the wide, clean slip free decks and fueled us up and guided us to one of the few vacant slips in this 200 slip marina. Many large yachts make this marina a home port inside the gated, guarded community. The finger piers are wide, with pump out near each slip. The deck cleats are large adjustable to accommodate any arrangement of ties. The facilities are first class, clean showers and laundry with 4 dryers/washers in the building with Captain’s lounge, fitness center and restrooms. The manager Mark greeted us in the office located inside the onsite restaurant. Mark had a bottle of wine delivered to our slip. Our fuel and slip were discounted for BoatUS to $1.42 @ Ft for our 40 ft trawler, $20.00 for 50 amp. and $4.35 a gal for diesel. The fare on Sunday was very good and reasonable in price. Wi Fi is free and we watched movies from netflix. Rode bike over to West Marine. We left Monday AM for Marathon. We will be back to stay at this safe, clean marina.

Shopping is 1 city block from the North end of Old Port Cove anchorage with Groceries and CVS as well as the infamos Carmines with the finest of wines, cheeese, sea food of all kinds and meats & fish of the finest quality anywhere. Shopping for the ladies as well. Anchor or Marina it does not get any better.

Nov, 2009: Transient rate was $ 1.75/ft less 25% for Boat U.S. 50 amp electric was $ 20/day. Very nice, well-maintained marina with new floating docks — finger piers are long and wide, unlike some marinas where they are short and narrow. Inside a gated community and more difficult to pass through the gate than at the White House! VERY safe place to leave your boat and a very enjoyable place to stay. Monthly rate is pricey.

Old Port Cove is very nice, but somewhat pricey. They have brand new state of the art floating docks with pump-outs at each slip. It’s in the middle of all kinds of shopping but you really need a car.
Without a car, you can easily provision for groceries and enjoy several restaurants by anchoring in the north Lake Worth anchorage. The dinghy dock (shown in Skipper Bob’s Anchorage book) is about one block from a Mall with Publix, CVS, etc.

        1 May 2010.
We elected New Port Cove Marine Center because it was close to the Fort Worth Inlet and with a Boat US discount, bringing the per foot rate down to $1.75, reasonable for the area. Based on a Waterway Guide ad, New Port is part of a “family of marine businesses”, consisting of three marinas in the area, with New Port nearest the inlet, all with the same rates.
As an overnight stop while inlet hopping up the coast, it was a good place to stay. The busy – we were there on the weekend – stacked dry storage operation near the transient docks would encourage one to go further up Lake Worth for a more pleasant longer stay.
The minimum charge for electricity hit an all-time high, at $12/day, but the manager saw the logic of this not being a feasible cost for a small boat with an ice box for refrigeration and offered it at half price, saying he doesn’t usually do deals. He was rewarded for his wisdom by making a $5.70 profit on what would cost him $.30 based on our kilowatt usage. I agreed to pay as we were mostly sailing outside and inlet hopping and my batteries were low. The alternative was to motor in the slip to charge batteries, something neither the manager or I wanted.
As with other marinas, he attempted to justify the gouge by saying the fee was for all marina facilities, not just electricity, despite being labelled a charge for power in their rate sheets. The Loggerhead Daytona manager sympathized with why I objected to the fee but said it was an “industry standard”. I said I could understand why the industry wanted to create such a self-serving standard but I was adhering to my personal standard of paying a fair price for what I required.
We entered and left Lake Worth Inlet, a class A inlet, at near slack water, headed for Fort Pierce, another class A inlet, avoiding the up to 4-kt current possible at max velocity in both inlets. NOAA provides times for slack and max and current strength at max for Ft Lauderdale, Lake Worth and Fort Pierce on their website: http://co-ops.nos.noaa.gov/currents10/tab2ac7.html#79
