The shipping channel (Rebellion Reach) for this vessel crosses the Waterway in central Charleston Harbor immediately west of the Waterway’s entry into the Harbor at mile 463. Once again, our thanks to Specialist Justin Heck for this notice.

The Captain of the Port Charleston is establishing a 100 yard moving safety zone around the M/V ZHEN HUA 16 while the vessel is underway, moored, or anchored in the Sector Charleston Captain of the Port Zone. The M/V ZHEN HUA 16 will be transporting 4 gantry cranes between the dates of February 23, 2018 and March 31, 2018. The safety zone is necessary to protect the public from hazards associated with transporting the large cranes. Entry of vessels or persons into the safety zone is prohibited unless specifically authorized by the Captain of the Port or a designated representative.
