[EXPIRED] Dismal Swamp Canal Welcome Center “Event Along the Waterway” Slated for 10/19/13
Boy, does this sound like a FUN place to be on October 19. Just look at the photos from 2012’s version of this event!
Cruisers can moor at the Dismal Swamp Canal Welcome Center’s (A SALTY SOUTHEAST CRUISERS’ NET SPONSOR) dock, and enjoy all the activities. Hope to see you there!
Just wanted to give you and the boating community a heads up on our October Event here at the Dismal Swamp State Park.
Second Annual Dismal Day – Sat, October 19, 2013
Dismal Swamp State Park, Dismal Swamp Canal Welcome Center, and Camden County Parks and Recreation are hosting a family fun event. Programs include: Great Dismal Swamp Adventure’s Poontoon rides on the canal. Manned historical exhibits including a liquor still. Pumpkin decorating, Bounce houses, Chalk Art Contest, Scavenger Hunt, Creepy Crawley Critter Crafts, Wagon Rides, Music, and 5K run all free to the public!
