[EXPIRED] Research Vessel On-Station, Port Everglades Entrance Channel, near AICW Statute Mile 1066

Notice to Navigation: NTN 2016-014 Port Everglades Drilling Phase II
Notice is given to Mariners navigating PORT EVERGLADES are advised that the R/V Polly will be conducting Geotechnical Drilling Investigations in the Outer Entrance Channel commencing on or about December 2,2016 with a projected completion date of December 31, 2016.
The vessel operator will monitor channels 13 and 16 VHF-FM. Traffic should call 30 minutes prior to expected time of passage. Mariners are requested to stay clear of the R/V Polly while they are conducting operations. Mariners are cautioned to strictly comply with “Rules of the Road” when approaching, passing, and leaving the area of operations and remain a safe distance away from the vessel.
