[EXPIRED] MSIB 43-17 Charleston Harbor Christmas Parade of Boats, Dec 9, 2017, AICW Statute Mile 465
Late arrivals to Charleston Harbor must pay close attention to the MSIB chart below to avoid entering the parade circle route. Charleston is home to two CRUISERS’ NET SPONSORS, Charleston Harbor Marina and Charleston City Marina, both of which are excellent viewing points for the parade.
A reminder to spectator boats weighing anchor following the parade: this is a dangerous time, so depart the area slowly. The combination of night-time visibility and additional lights on the water will affect a skipper’s perspective.
