With a closed vertical clearance of 7ft, the Norfolk Southern #7 Railroad Bridge is the third ICW RR bridge south of Mile Zero. Someone listened and the maintenance has been delayed from Novmber 12 to November 26 or later. Stay tuned for actual closure dates. Our thanks to Matt the Bridge Tender for this notice.

Proposed Railroad Bridge Maintenance Update
Feedback concerning the Norfolk Southern #7 Railroad Bridge’s potential closures was received and reviewed to determine the best course of action for the proposed maintenance schedule. The requested deviation from bridge regulations was not approved due to the adverse impacts associated with the proposed closure of the bridge from November 12, 2018, through November 15, 2018. This bridge will continue normal operations until no earlier than November 26, 2018. Once approved, a MSIB will be released to announce actual closure periods.
