NOW OPEN FOR EMERGENCY SERVICE BY REQUEST ONLY Dear Valued Customer, This week has been a particularly odd one for our business. Just like all of you, we want a sense of normalcy and safety for those close to us. For our dedicated team, we want safety and continued good health as well as the security of normal business. For our customers we want the benefits of recreational boating to provide the much-needed distraction from the anxiety of the current pandemic. Our team needs to be providing customer service to boaters to feel normal, to feel needed. We all love to do what we do for “work” and we miss being there. That said, we now feel the need to shift our service to EMERGENCY needs only. This week we have tried to maintain an “on-call” status in order to provide essential services to transiting boaters that have to get to their destination. We have provided this service to dozens of customers and we have listened to their stories. Here is our dilemma: - President Trump’s “30 Days to slow the spread” guidelines
- Our mayor, Joe Pat Hatem, has declared a State of Emergency (and a “stay at home” order). The State of NC has declared a State of Emergency (and a “stay at home” order). The President of the USA has declared a State of Emergency…
- We want to be part of “the solution”.
- Transiting Boaters (Dockage and Fuel)- We have always placed a high priority on providing essential services to the transiting boater community and we expect to continue this commitment. Our ValvTect fuel and overnight transient dock is closed for normal service, but may be available for EMERGENCY service during our temporary shutdown. Please qualify this service in advance to ensure proper customer service by our on-call manager using our online reservation request form HERE on our website.
