This offshore dredging is in Range A Section 2 to Section 3 of the entrance channel of Beaufort Inlet.

NC – BEAUFORT INLET – DREDGING
Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Company, LLC (GLDD) will be conducting dredging operations in Beaufort Inlet utilizing hopper dredge Liberty Island. Dredging will be focused between Beaufort Inlet Channel Lighted Buoy 3 (LLNR 29333) and Beaufort Inlet Lighted Buoy 8 (LLNR 29338) starting on or about May 21, 2021 and will be completed by July 1, 2021. Mariners are urged to use extreme caution in these areas and around dredging equipment. In addition, mariners are urged to transit the area of dredging at their slowest safe speed to minimize wake and proceed with caution after passing arrangements have been made. Chart 11547 LNM 18/21
