Here’s what’s happening during the holidays:

​Surf, Wind & Fire’s Christmas Market Block Party & Albemarle Chorale Christmas Concert​ Join us in Downtown Edenton on Sunday, December 1st, for a neighborhood block party! This special holiday block party will take place from 12 – 4 p.m. and feature food trucks, a bounce house and face painting for kids, and live music. Special Christmas vendors will also be on-site so you can pick up a few holiday gifts. Following the block party, the Albemarle Chorale will be performing “A Christmas Offering” at 4:00 p.m.

​Edenton’s Kick-off to Christmas on December 7th Saturday, December 7th, will be packed full of holiday events in Downtown Edenton. The Rudolph Run 5K will kick-off in the morning at 7:15 a.m. and will benefit the Aces Booster Club. Then, our traditional kick-off to Christmas event will start at 3:00 p.m. at the Waterfront. Join us for food trucks, a chili cook-off, a children’s story time, Christmas tree lighting, visits with Santa Claus, and our annual Christmas flotilla! ​

​Winter Festival & Edenton-Chowan Christmas Parade on December 14th More of Edenton’s holiday traditions happen on Saturday, December 14th. The Edenton Farmers Market will host the Winter Festival from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. with over 30 local vendors offering handmade and local gifts. Then, our annual Christmas parade down Broad Street starts at 10 a.m. Local bands, businesses, and organizations will ring in the holiday season with festive floats and, of course, the appearance of Santa Claus!
