Anchorage limitations continue to be considered/expanded in various important Florida cruising areas. St. Lucie County is considering establishing two areas and conducting a public hearing on July 22 at 9am.

Public Notice The Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, Florida, announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited. DATE AND TIME: July 22, 2025, at 9 a.m. or as soon thereafter as possible to receive all testimony and evidence to consider and act upon the adoption of proposed Ordinance 2025-012. PLACE: County Commissioner Chambers of Roger Poitras Administration Annex located at 2300 Virginia Ave., Fort Pierce, FL 34982 (3rd Floor). GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The Board of County Commissioners of St. Lucie County, FL is conducting a public hearing to introduce an ordinance to establish two (2) Anchoring Limitation Areas in St. Lucie County and amendments to Chapter 50-Waterways of the St. Lucie Code.
