With a closed vertical clearance of 4ft, the Centerville Turnpike Bridge crosses the Waterway at mile marker 15.2.
Atlantic Intercoastal Waterway – Centerville Turnpike Bridge Notification of Deviated Schedule.
Mariners are advised that the Centerville Turnpike Bridge experienced mechanical failure and requires emergency maintenance with an unknown estimated time of repair. Centerville Turnpike Bridge over the Albemarle and Chesapeake canal will be operated on a deviated schedule until repairs can be completed. The bridge will open on signal at 6 a.m., 10 a.m., 2 p.m., 6 p.m., and 10 p.m.
