However, a cold front will move over the Gulf on Sunday, and minimal gale-force winds are possible on Sunday night and Monday in the wake of the front over the Gulf. Swell -None: No large area of swell. Overview: -High pressure north of the area is dominating the weather pattern across all basins. -A cold front is forecast to move into the NW Gulf on Sunday and over the Western Atlantic on Monday. Fresh to strong winds and 8 to 10 ft seas will follow the front. -Gale-force winds are possible over the Gulf in the wake of the front Sunday night and Monday.
